Small Group Chapels

Small Group Chapels (SGCs) are unique meetings that students have built around shared interests with the primary purpose being spiritual formation. ACU students are able to create SGCs around their faith denominations, social clubs, residence halls, arts and culture, social justice causes, and other interests.

SGCs provide a great opportunity for like-minded Christians to form deep and intimate relationships. The proximity afforded by SGCs encourages students to build empathy for each other as they study Scripture, pray together, and share one another's burdens. These groups vary in size. The smaller groups encourage participation among students who may not feel comfortable enough to participate in larger forums. The SGCs, therefore, are an important part of each student's spiritual growth and strengthen the impact of other spiritual formation activities at ACU.
