Spiritual Life

At Abilene Christian University, your spiritual flourishing is one of our top priorities. So we weave it into the fabric of our campus life and build it into the foundations of our community.

With daily chapel services, hands-on community learning and annual academic ministry trips designed to live your faith in the world, ACU fosters each stage of your spiritual growth from day one through graduation.

Chapel

Our tradition of fellowship, worship and learning – including daily all-campus chapels and breakout small group and departmental chapels – brings us together, reminding us that our faith is a shared experience and communal celebration. Together, across ACU, we pursue Christ’s purpose for us in the world.

Community Service and Ministry

Here in our community and out in the broader world, we passionately invest in our neighbors and commit to ministry and service initiatives that illustrate the love and compassion of our Creator.

Leadership Camps

Each summer, ACU offers leadership camps for 4th- to 10th-grade students – and our students get involved! As a camp volunteer, you’ll serve as a model of Christ-first living as you mentor students, facilitate spiritual growth and guide the next generation of leaders.

ACU Missions

Our unique Halbert Center for Missions and Global Service provides opportunities for every student, regardless of major, to use their skills and knowledge for the good of others around the world. Through a two-week global service trip or a 10-week WorldWide Witness trip, you can participate in God’s ongoing creative work in dozens of locations across six continents.
