ACU Lighthouse Helps our members maturely express their beliefs, provides a student symbol of active Catholicism at ACU and unifies students through fellowship, Mass, and other events and activities. ACU Percussion Ensemble and Steelband A single organization that offers both music majors and non-majors the opportunity to perform a wide range of musical styles and genres. Alpha Psi Omega A national honors society dedicated to providing service to the growth of young theatre artists. Honors
American Enterprise Institute Executive Council (AEI) " ACU’s AEI Executive Council seeks to promote the main mission of the American Enterprise Institute, which is to defend human dignity, expand human potential, and build a freer and safer world. ACU’s American Enterprise Institute (AEI) Executive Council seeks to promote substantive conversations about public policy on campus by hosting events and activities throughout the year. We often host lectures or discussions with AEI scholars or local professors, private dinners with scholars, business professionals, or government officials, reading groups; and film viewings. Athletic Training Student Organization We, the students of the Athletic Training Student Organization strive to educate those who are looking to advance their knowledge and experience in the Athletic Training field while expanding our program in a Christian environment as a unified camaraderie of Athletic Training students. Our goals are to prepare students to enter a Master’s program in Athletic Training, and to inform others of the responsibilities we undertake. We expand our learning through the Athletic Training staff, team physicians, and those who came before us. We aim to foster the advancement of Athletic Training responsibilities in students, as well as leadership, loyalty, and professional qualities. Academic

Jazz Ensemble and Jazz Combo Comprised of 16-19 student both music and non-music majors. The ensemble performs many different styles of music and has an active performance schedule on and off campus. Membership is open to all students through an audition process. Performing Arts

Lynay The Lynay group was founded several years ago in the effort to educate students on the essence of leadership through service and building community. Lynay is a multicultural group, having an equal representation of every major ethnic group, gender and class on campus. The group meets once a week to listen to a variety of speakers on current topics and issues. There is a 100-student cap on Lynay, with a limited number of places available for incoming freshmen. Midnight Worship A worship night intended for college students that is not affiliated with any denomination. Special Interest
Missions Students Association To develop a culture among students of ACU that is more aware of and burdened for the unbelieving people within our local communities and the world; encouraging students to be more committed to pray for and participate in the redemptive work of Jesus Christ. Movement Against Pornography (MAP) Strives to bring honor to God by raising awareness to the harmful effects of pornography in relationships to God and others. Through weekly accountability meetings, available internet monitoring software, and relational fellowship, we seek to aggressively pursue and eliminate sin. Special Interest

NSSLHA National organization for students interested in the study of normal and disordered human communication behavior. Provides opportunities for majors to learn more about speech-language pathology, to interact with professionals and participate in pre-professional learning activities. Academic
Omega Dance Company Encourages and explores the expression of faith and creativity through dance in a Christian environment. Also provides a forum at ACU for dancers to use the gifts that they have been blessed with to glorify God. Dancers are encouraged, educated, and held to high standards of moral values. Seekers of the Word Drama Ministry An intense, God-focused acting group that travels across the region to perform various dramatic and humorous skits for youth groups in order to illuminate the various struggles, lessons and choices that are common to every young man and woman. Student Accounting Organization (SAO) The Student Accounting Organization is a group for accounting majors that is student led and supported by the ACU accounting faculty. Its purpose is to help accounting students prepare for their futures, network with peers and professionals, and provide opportunities to learn more about their field and the career options accounting has to offer. Student Alumni Association Serves as ambassadors to the student body on behalf of the ACU Alumni Office as official hosts at selected university and alumni-related events, specifically those targeting students. The Student Alumni Association also sponsors activities to increase student awareness of the role alumni play in the university, and aims to instill the spirit of tradition, volunteerism and philanthropy among students and future alumni. Student Association of School Psychology Educates students on current issues in the school of psychology, garners interest in the profession of the school of psychology, and organizes community events to serve in a fashion consistent with our Christian beliefs and the mission of ACU. Academic
Student Athlete Advisory Committee The purpose of SAAC at ACU is two-fold. First and foremost, SAAC serves as a liaison to the athletics administration at ACU, ensuring student-athletes have a voice in all issues impacting their overall experience and welfare. Secondly, SAAC serves as a leadership group recruiting fellow student-athletes to serve the campus and community through a variety of service programs.Committee membership is restricted to ACU DI student-athletes. Student Occupational Therapy Association To increase awareness of the occupational therapy profession on the ACU campus and in the community; promote camaraderie and fellowship; complete volunteer work as well as fundraising for charity purposes. Special Interest
Student Social Work Association The Student Social Work Association (SSWA) is open to all interested undergraduate and graduate social work students and other ACU students as well. The students meet regularly to plan events, such as the Second Chance Dance or the Chickasaw Nation Spring Break Trip, learn from local social work professionals, and engage with each other and the community. Swing Cats Promotes and sustains interest in pre-1950 U.S. social swing dance culture, such as music, dress, and period-accurate dance styles. Our main dance goals will focus on East Coast swing, Lindy Hop, and Charleston. Performing Arts

The Shinnery Review ACU's annual student-produced literary magazine, offers students the opportunity for hands-on experience in soliciting work, making editorial decisions, and marketing a publication. ACU Language and Literature majors serve on the magazine's staff. Special Interest
