Online Continuing Education Classes

eConnections is an online continuing education resource offered by ACU's College of Biblical Studies and the Siburt Institute. Participants can learn from dedicated teachers, share resources with one another, and be encouraged by stories of how God is working in congregations across the country . . . all from the comfort of their own homes!

Class Offerings and Format

The next round of classes begins on March 9. Join the conversations about the mission of God, welcoming all children, non-anxious presence for elders, and the gospel of Luke.

Luke's Gospel: Good News for the Rich?

  • Cliff Barbarick, professor in ACU’s Dept. of Bible, Missions and Ministry

Shepherding the Anxious

  • Joey Cope, executive director of ACU’s Duncum Center for Conflict Resolution

Holy Hospitality: Welcoming ALL Children

  • Dana Kennamer Pemberton, professor and the chair in ACU’s Teacher Education Department

The Mission of God

  • Stephen Shaffer, minister for the Carbondale (IL) Church of Christ

These fully online classes are open to any interested person who has a computer and access to the Internet. Each class runs for 6-8 weeks, with topics and instructors changing each spring and fall. The cost is only $200 per class - cheaper than travel expenses to attend many face-to-face seminars and conferences.

Stay connected to eConnections! Subscribe to our mailing list, and you’ll be among the first to know about new classes, and will also be invited to suggest eConnections topics of interest to you and the church you serve.
