Meet the Program Director

Mark Phillips is a Professor of Management Sciences at Abilene Christian University. A faculty member since 2004, Mark earned an undergraduate degree from ACU, a Master’s from Purdue University, and a Ph.D. from Oklahoma State University. Prior to taking on his role as Program Director, he served for five years as Chair of the Department of Management Sciences in the College of Business Administration. He has extensive experience using educational technology in both online and face-to-face classes, and has designed and taught multiple online courses over the last decade. He has lived a total of more than a year of his life outside the United States, most recently as a faculty member at ACU’s site in Leipzig, Germany in the fall of 2019.

Admission Requirements

ACU’s online undergraduate programs are intended for non-traditional students interested in gaining a bachelor’s degree in an online modality. 

To be considered for admission:

  • Students must see that the College of Graduate and Professional Studies receives the following:
  • Completed “Online Undergraduate Program” application accompanied by a non-refundable processing fee.  
  • Official transcripts of all previous academic work. 
  • Students are not required to submit ACT or SAT test scores.

Graduation Requirements

Students must earn a 2.5 GPA or higher for all courses taken at ACU and at least a “C” in each business course.
