1 – ACU Abilene faculty, staff and students who have tested positive and have not concluded their isolation period.

2 – Population includes all Abilene faculty, staff and students.

3 – The seven-day positivity rate is calculated by dividing positive PCR and antigen test results at ACU by all tests administered at the university over the past seven days.

4 – ACU faculty, staff and students who have not tested positive but may have been exposed to someone who did and are instructed to quarantine.

5 – Includes PCR and antigen tests administered by the ACU Medical Clinic and in partnership with TTUHSC.


Current COVID-19 Information

ACU senior leadership is continually monitoring the rapidly changing global threat posed by the Coronavirus (COVID-19). At ACU, our top priority has been – and will always be – the health, safety and well-being of our students, faculty and staff.

  • Physical distancing is required in ALL areas of the ACU campus, both indoors and outdoors.
  • Face masks are required to be worn by all individuals (faculty, staff, students and visitors) inside all indoor spaces on campus.
  • Masks are preferred outside and are required in all outside campus areas where 6 feet of social distancing is not possible or where congestion is likely.
  • Employee and supervisor notification procedures have been established regarding potential or diagnosed positive tests for COVID-19.
  • Until further notice, ACU discourages visitors from coming into indoor locations on campus unless it is essential to business.
