Known to most as Johnny, this groovy fellow advises ACU's Math, History, Global Studies, Political Science, and Criminal Justice majors. His undergraduate degree is in Christian Ministry, and he intends to pursue licensure in Marriage & Family Therapy and Professional Counseling through ACU's graduate MFT online program. The middle member of seven siblings, Johnny grew up overseas in Mbale, Uganda where his parents were missionaries before moving back to Abilene in 2009 and attending Abilene High School. In June of 2017, he married his high school sweetheart, Maddy. Yes, she is out of his league. In his free time, Johnny can be found brewing coffee, listening to podcasts or music (recommendations welcome), watching Netflix, enjoying nature, or hanging out with friends or family.
