Meet the Program Director

Dr. Phil Vardiman is the program director of the Master of Business Administration (MBA) and Master of Business Management (MSM) degrees that focus on training and developing future organizational leaders. He has extensive experience in operations management, human resources management, organizational development, and quality assurance. He has held several leadership and management positions while continuing his education. Dr. Vardiman received his degrees from Abilene Christian University, University of Mary-Hardin Baylor and Texas A&M University and also holds the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM-SCP) senior certified professional certification and the HRCI Senior Professional Human Resources (SPHR) certification. He is very active in the community serving on two boards, is involved with local church activities and owns his own consulting business.

To be considered for admission, students must:
- Complete the online program application accompanied by a non-refundable processing fee.
- Submit an official transcript of all previous colleges attended. The transcript must indicate an earned bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited college or university or equivalent.
- Have a cumulative undergraduate GPA of 3.0 or above, probationary status may be granted.
- Author a purpose statement (2 pages, double-spaced).
- Subpply a current resume.
