SITC students gain hands-on experience with the latest technologies used in industry. We expect all of our students to bring a laptop of their choice for use inside and outside of the classroom. Current students and faculty use Linux, Mac, and Windows operating systems. The SITC also has virtual access to Rackspace servers and specialized enterprise software from SAP.

Labs

• Caughfield Lab - a lab designed for students to design software native to the iOS platform
• Computer Center - a lab containing over 40 computers where students can access software for programming and web development
• Recreational Computing and Special Projects Lab - a lab containing machines with high level of graphics and software for animation, game development and design
• Security & Networking Lab - a state of the art reconfigurable lab that allows students to experiment with security and network software and hardware
