Commencement exercises have been rescheduled for August 7 and 8, 2020. We hope you'll join us as we shine a light on all you've accomplished. Agricultural and Environmental Sciences
A luncheon is planned for Saturday, Aug. 8, to include all May and December graduates and their families in the Onstead Science Center lobby.


Art and Design
Graduating seniors will meet in Shore Art Gallery at 8:30 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 8.

 

Bible, Missions and Ministry
A graduation reception is planned for 5:30 p.m. Friday, Aug. 7, at a location to be determined.


Biology
A graduation breakfast is planned for Saturday, Aug. 8, in the Onstead Science Center lobby for all graduates and their families.


Chemistry and Biochemistry
A graduation breakfast for graduates and their families will take place on Saturday, Aug. 8, in the lobby of Halbert-Walling Research Center.    

 

College of Business Administration
A Senior Blessing lunch is scheduled for 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. Friday, Aug. 7. 


Communication and Sociology
A breakfast is planned for Friday, Aug. 7, from 9-10:30 a.m. in the Sherrod Building.


Engineering and Physics
Plans are being made for either a dinner Friday, Aug. 7, or a breakfast or lunch Saturday, Aug. 8.  

 

Graduate School of Theology
The Awards and Covenant Service will take place at 2:30 p.m. Friday, Aug. 7, at Chapel on the Hill.


History and Global Studies
Plans are being made for a breakfast or lunch Saturday, Aug. 8.


Honors College
An open house to pick up graduation stoles is planned for 3-5 p.m. Friday, Aug. 7.


Journalism and Mass Communication
Plans are to have either a dinner or a dessert reception Friday, Aug. 7.  

 

Kinesiology & Nutrition
A graduate reception will be hosted at 3:00 on Friday, Aug. 7 in the Student Recreation and Wellness Center, room 260A.

 

Language and Literature
A lunch for English/Spanish graduates and their families is planned for Saturday, Aug. 8, at the home of Dr. Mikee Delony, department chair. 

 

Marriage and Family Therapy
A special ceremony for graduates and their families is planned for 5:30 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 6, at Chapel on the Hill. A dinner will follow at a location to be determined.


Mathematics
A reception is planned for Friday, Aug. 7, in the Onstead Science Center lobby for graduates and their families.


Music
A dinner is planned for Friday evening in the Williams Performing Arts Center north lobby.   

 

Nursing
A reception for BSN graduates and their families will take place at 6 p.m. Friday, Aug. 7, at a location to be determined.


Occupational Therapy
A pre-ceremony greeting will take place from 4-5 p.m. Friday, Aug. 7, in the department labs at 1661 Campus Court. Light refreshments will be served. 


Political Science and Criminal Justice

An outdoor barbecue dinner will take place Friday, Aug. 7, at the home of Dr. Neal Coates, department chair. All May and December graduating seniors and their families will be invited.
