For Master’s and Doctoral Degree Candidates

Submit the Application for Graduation - the semester before you intend to graduate. All graduate program candidates must complete the application for December graduation by November 1st. For May graduation, all graduate program candidates must complete the application by April 2nd.

There are additional deadlines, however, for thesis programs. Thesis deadlines and forms for residential graduate students are listed on the Office of Graduate Programs website.

For Students Pursuing Only a Certificate

If you are not pursuing a Master’s or Doctoral degree along with your certificate, please submit this application for Graduate Certificate Awarding in the semester you intend to complete the certificate requirements.
