The middle school years are a pivotal time in an adolescent’s life. They’re building on fundamentals learned in elementary school, while preparing for the challenges of high school — all while developing into young adults.

ACU offers a variety of education and interdisciplinary Bachelor of Science degrees that certify you teach in the following disciplines at the middle-school level:

  • Art
  • Core Subjects
  • English Language Arts and Reading

  • Science
  • Social Studies
  • Spanish
  • Theatre

Degrees offered include:

  • Middle school education with early childhood to 6 and 4-8 - Mathematics
  • Middle school education with early childhood to 6 and 4-8 - Language Arts
  • Middle school education with early childhood to 6 and 4-8 - Social Studies

For those interested in combining a master's degree with their undergraduate teacher training, ACU offers a one year M.Ed. in Teaching and Learning designed for ACU students who will complete a bachelor's degree in Education.
