High School Teacher Education (BS)

ACU offers Bachelor of Science degrees with high school teacher (secondary education) certification in the following disciplines :

Through these programs, you will gain knowledge and skills related to your area of specialty, as well as top-notch secondary education experience. You will leave ACU an effective educator, ready to take your state certification exam.

ACU also offers Bachelor of Science degrees in high school English language arts and high school English special education.

High School English with Special Education 

High School can be difficult - especially for students with challenges. These students need teachers who believe they can learn and are prepared to provide them with the support needed to succeed. A degree that includes both high school English and special education you well equip you well to serve all kinds of students. You will develop skills to teach them and also to advocate for them and for their families. As a teacher certified in Special Education, you will have the opportunity to serve as a leader on your campus so that all students get what they need!
