Department of Teacher Education

The mission of ACU's Department of Teacher Education is to prepare exemplary, committed educators for service in diverse and multicultural communities for the glory of God. That is a mission we take seriously.

We believe that teaching is a ministry. This ministry calls us to continual personal and professional growth and transformation - a transformation that we cultivate in our teacher education students. We are committed to transforming teacher candidates into responsive professional educators who demonstrate scholarship, relationship and professional engagement.

ACU's faculty of Christian scholars and professionals are the foundation for student success. Each faculty member is an expert in their field, and at building supportive relationships with ACU students.
