There are several buildings on campus that have wireless capability. All you need is a laptop with an 802.11b/g wireless card. Most of these networks are open which means you can automatically connect to them if you have your wireless configuration turned on.
If you connect to our wireless network you will be required to register your computer. Once connected to the wireless network your web browser will automatically be redirected to the registration page. Guests can register their machines on the wireless network but must have all anti-virus and OS updates before attempting to connect to the system.
NOTE: The wireless network was designed for convenience and does not have the speed and stability that a wired ethernet connection can provide. If you are downloading or viewing large files (i.e. videos) we recommend that you plug your computer into a wired port before proceeding.
Team55 provides wireless laptops to any student to use while in the Library. You must see the Team55 frontdesk for checkout and availability. If you want to use your own machine to connect to the ACU Wireless Network, please follow the steps below.
