The technology resources you use in your residence hall are commonly referred to as ResNet. Resources such as cable tv, phone service, and Internet access are all included when defining this term.
What does the ResNet Staff handle?
These student take care of most all the different software, cable, phone, and account problems that students may encounter while in the hall. Any time a student needs technical help we encourage them to call the Team55 Office at 325-674-5555. They are equipped to handle most, if not all, technical problems that you may encounter. If they can't help you over the phone they can enter an appointment for a ResNet worker to handle.
Appointments
If your issue requires a person to visit your room we will schedule an appointment to send a ResNet student out to your location. You must be present while we work on your equipment. Room appointments can be scheduled between 12:30pm to 5:00pm on Monday through Friday. This applies to on-campus students only since we do not send students to off-campus locations. If you live off-campus you may bring your machine into our office if the problem cannot be handled over the phone.
Labs
Each residence hall has a lab for students who do not bring a computer to campus. These labs are available to the students who live in that hall 24/7. Each lab is equipped with printing capabilites that charge against your Uniprint balance.
