Team55 ResNet and Repair Center

Repair Center

The Team55 Repair Center is the solution to high priced computer repair shops for ACU students.  The Team55 Repair Center offers students a variety of services such as: virus/spyware removal, software and operating system optimization and maintenance.  The services are the most commonly performed.  The Team55 Repair Center will also install any genuine, legal software including operating systems at a student's request.  The Team55 Repair Center can backup data and provide limited assistance with minor hardware repair.  Every service the Team55 Repair Center performs is free of charge to ACU students.

How Do I Do It?

Just check in your machine at our Pit Stop in the Learning Commons, and a Team55 representative will take the machine to our Repair Center.  When you check in your laptop, be sure to bring your power adapter.  If you are dropping off a desktop all we need is your tower, unless the problem lies with another part of your machine.  If you need your operating system re-installed be sure to bring the discs that came with your computer and the product key.

ResNet

The technology resources you use in your residence hall are commonly referred to as ResNet.  Resources such as cable tv, phone service, and Internet access are all included when defining this term. Our Team55 Repair Center Technicians also serve as ResNet Staff, taking appointments to meet you in your dorm room to troubleshoot problems you maybe having.

What does the ResNet Staff handle?

Any time a student needs technical help we encourage them to call the Team55 Call Center at 325-674-5555.  Our Call Center staff are equipped to handle most, if not all, technical problems that you may encounter.  If they can't help you over the phone they can enter an appointment for a ResNet worker to handle.

Appointments

If your issue requires a person to visit your room we will schedule an appointment to send a ResNet student out to your location.  You must be present while we work on your equipment.  Room appointments can be scheduled between 12:30pm to 5:00pm on Monday through Friday.  This applies to on-campus students only since we do not send students to off-campus locations.  If you live off-campus you may bring your machine into our office if the problem cannot be handled over the phone.
