ACU Partners With Google - March 20th, 2007

ACU is proud to announce that we are going to move to a new email system.  The actual move will take place over several months, beginning in early April.  We are fortunate to be one of the first universities to begin a partnership with Google.  Schools revolve around communication and collaboration, and these new services from Google are changing what's possible within educational communities.

There are several advantages to using Google: indexed email searching, enhanced spam filtering, calendaring, document sharing, and chatting.  We get all of this, and we don't have to change our email addresses!

We believe that using Google's web client will be an exciting experience.  However, if you are currently using Outlook, Eudora, or Mac Mail, and would like, you may continue to use them.
Watch for more email instructions, helpful videos, and training classes by visiting our gmail website.  We are excited about this new functionality and relationship and want to make sure that the transition is as pleasant as possible for everyone.
