Web Policy for Student Pages: Introduction
Abilene Christian University encourages student creativity
and expression by providing space for student-designed home pages
on various University web servers. Although all students, faculty
and staff are expected to follow the guidelines outlined below,
the comments and viewpoints expressed on individual home pages
represent those of the page authors and not Abilene Christian
University.
These guidelines apply to student pages on ACU equipment,
or connected to the ACU network, either through a direct connection
or by modem:
- Before publishing individual pages, students must
first pass the
Exam for Responsible Electronic Publishing
, based on this document and the
Net Use Glossary
.
- Social clubs or other student organizations must have
the approval of the office of the Deans of Students.
