ACU Connected
When we can hold a universe of information in the palms of our hands, how does that change the way we learn and communicate? The ACU Connected initiative studies how mobile technologies can be used to enhance learning.
ACU Connected
In a world of search engines, social networking, and mobile computers, students have access to more information than one could process in a lifetime. At ACU, we are training students to not merely consume these vast amounts of information, but to assess information, to synthesize thoughts, to generate new ideas, and to contribute meaningfully to conversations of global importance. We are exploring how these technologies can be used to help people learn in new ways. And we are discovering how these tools can aid us in our mission to educate students for Christian service and leadership throughout the world.

EdTech Events Wrap-Up
The report cards are is in from educators who attended our spring 2012 mobile learning events. The 300 attendees at the K-12 Transforming Learning Conference in McAllen were asked to complete a post-event survey. One question received an answer of 100 percent. Although attendees at the ACU Connected Open House for higher education were not asked to complete a post-event survey, feedback during the event as well as afterwards has been consistent.
