Initiating a Programming Project Investigation

(How to have a programming project considered for implementation)

Programming projects at ACU are prioritized by a group made up of Jack Rich, Phil Schubert, John Tyson and Dwayne VanRheenen.  In order to have a project considered for implementation, a Programming Project Investigation Request must be submitted to Jim Trietsch (ACU Box 29201) in paper form with signature from the appropriate Vice President.

The Priorities Team usually make decisions six to nine months in advance, and project applications are considered four times each year.  Deadlines for submissions are February 1, May 1, August 1, and November 1.  Priorities Team decisions are made approximately one month after each deadline. Every attempt should be made to provide six to nine months lead time for any major programming project, but projects with short lead times are occasionally considered by the Priorities Team. Sponsors submitting requests for projects with short lead-times should take care to provide as much information as possible on this form.  Use as much space as necessary.
