History
Alpha Kai Omega is a women’s social club, founded on Christian values, at Abilene Christian University in Abilene, Texas. The club chartered January 1, 2000 by 31 amazing women of God who saw a need and took the initiative to fill it. (see Charter Members) Alpha Kai Omega seeks to uphold the ideals of the university and strives for unity in Christ from beginning to end. Currently our club consists of 84 active members, 13 officers, and 4 sponsors. Although Alpha Kai Omega was only chartered a few years ago, we have grown to become a large group of women and continue to strive for excellence in all we do. This past fall we had two members nominated for Homecoming Queen and in the Homecoming Parade Alpha Kai’s float won for “best use of purple.” This February the Kai-O’s placed 2nd Overall in Sing Song “Shift into High Gear” as Santa’s Elves. Alpha Kai has continued to grow over the last several years and has become one of the biggest clubs on campus. We are very proud of all the women who have been apart of this great club and thank you for your perseverance and support in making this club what it is today. The women of Alpha Kai Omega seek to uphold our values and shared beliefs in God through service, ministry, fellowship, and a personal relationship with Christ. ***Alumni Notice*** We are trying to keep in touch with our Alumni and if you want to be included in our Alumni Directory please inform Erin Chappell at elc04b@acu.edu.
