ACU to host Kingsville in LSC South opener

Match originally scheduled for Kingsville moved to Moody Coliseum

ABILENE -- The ACU Wildcats expected to be on the road to south Texas Thursday to begin defense of their Lone Star Conference South Division title.  Insteady they'll get an unexpected home match Thursday night, thanks to Mother Nature.

Just before a mandatory evacuation was declared for portions of the Texas Gulf Coast in advance of Hurricane Rita, officials from ACU, Texas A&M-Kingsville and the Lone Star Conference decided to move Thursday's ACU-Kingsville match from the Steinke P.E. Center in Kingsville to ACU's Moody Coliseum.
