Dr. Summers is originally from Dimmitt, Texas.  He has two degrees from Abilene Christian University as well as graduate work at the University of Oklahoma.

Dr. Summers earned his Chiropractic degree from Parker College in Dallas, Texas. Following graduation he completed an additional year of study in sports medicine.

Prior to returning to Abilene in 1994 he was Associate Professor of Biomechanics and Director of the Student Clinic at Parker College.

His experience in sports medicine include the Bud Lite Professional Water Ski Tour, Fort Worth Professional Indoor Rodeo, Womens Oylmpic Marathon Trials and while living in Dallas was chosen as one the National Football League Players Association treating chiropractors.

Dr. Summers is a Licensed Paramedic and an EMS certified instructor.

He is the owner of Crossroads Chiropractic Clinic in Abilene.
