Grant Feasel

Grant Feasel recently retired after 11 seasons in the National Football League as a center for the Baltimore Colts (1983), Minnesota Vikings (1984-86) and Seattle Seahawks (1987-93). He was a sixth-round draft choice of the Colts in 1983 after his four-year career at ACU in 1979-82. He started for Seattle in the 1987 NFL playoffs, also competed in the 1988 playoffs and played every offensive down of the 16-game season in 1989.

A graduate of Barstow, Calif., High School, Feasel was chosen first team all-America in 1982 by both the Associated Press and American Football Coaches Association while playing for the Wildcats. He was also voted second team academic all-America, captain, all-Lone Star Conference, academic all-conference, LSC Offensive Lineman of the Year, and a member of the all-LSC team for the decade of the 1980s.

Feasel received a prestigious NCAA postgraduate scholarship in 1982 ­ one of only 25 awarded to college football players that season. He is a 1983 graduate of ACU, and his brother Greg also was a lineman at ACU and in the NFL with San Diego and Green Bay.
