ACU looking for pair of regional titles

Wildcats among favorites on both sides at regional meet

JOPLIN, Mo. -- The ACU men's and women's cross country teams will try to win NCAA Division II South Central Region championships Saturday at the regional meet, which this year is hosted by Missouri Southern State University.

The ACU men have won four straight regional titles, and will be led by senior Bernard Manirakiza, who returns this week after missing most of the season with various injuries.

The ACU women will be among the favorites for the women's team title, and will be led by junior Adeh Mwamba, who won the Lone Star Conference individual title two weeks ago in leading the Wildcats to the team title.
