Wes Kittley’s men’s and women’s track and field teams complete the program’s third sweep of all four NCAA II team titles in one season at the NCAA Division II outdoor championship meet in Emporia, Kan. Stephen Moore leads the men’s team to the title while Delloreen Ennis-London and Tracey Barnes lead ACU to the women’s crowns. The championships are the 28th and 29th in Kittley’s ACU career and they mark his last two titles before he announces in July, 1999 that he would be moving to Texas Tech University to take over the Red Raiders’ track and field program.
