Wildcats win LSC championship

Turns out the ACU Wildcats didn't need any miracle potions or magic spells to break their three-year jinx in the Lone Star Conference Baseball Championship series.All they needed was a healthy dose of Preston Vancil.  The ACU senior righthander hurled seven shutout innings Tuesday afternoon and the Wildcat offense did the rest as ACU won the LSC baseball championship

The  Wildcats are now headed to this weekend's NCAA Division II South Central Region Tournament.    

This trip to the regional tournament is the eighth for the Wildcats since 2000 and ninth in school history.
