Soprano To Perform in Cullen Auditorium

ABILENE - Renowned soprano Hope Koehler will be on the Abilene Christian University campus Oct. 1-2 to present a master class and classical concert.

ACU vocal music majors will perform during the master class Wednesday, Oct. 1, from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. in the Roxie Neal Recital Hall.

Koehler will sing a classical concert Thursday, Oct. 2, at 8 p.m. in Cullen Auditorium.

Both events are open to the general public with no admission charge.

Koehler has won the Metropolitan Opera Auditions in Nashville, Tenn., and is a first-place winner in the Birmingham Opera Competition. She has taught voice at David Lipscomb University for several years and is presently pursuing the Doctor of Music degree in vocal performance at the University of Kentucky.

A reception in the foyer at the main entrance of Cullen Auditorium will follow the concert.
