
Register now for After School Reading Program
For immediate releaseJanuary 4, 1999 Register now for Abilene Christian University's education department's After School Reading Program for first-graders to high school seniors to improve reading skills. The program starts Feb. 1 and continues for 10 weeks. Students will receive individualized tutoring from ACU students specializing in reading education. They will participate in varied reading and writing activities including a computer program for reading skills. Tutors will emphasize each student's areas of greatest need as determined by an assessment. The lab will meet from 4-5 p.m. Mondays through Fridays. Cost is $200 for the 10-week program.
