ACU Students Accepted to Schools in Medical Field
for immediate release May 8, 1998Health professional schools in Texas, New Mexico, Arkansas, Massachusetts, Tennessee, Iowa and Virginia accepted 22 Abilene Christian University students into their programs. The following is a list of the students and the schools they chose:
In the field of medicine, John Cole of Abilene and Frank Loyd of Chama, N.M., will attend the University of North Texas Health Science Center in Fort Worth; Adrian Church of Plano and Jenevieve Holton of Vienna, Va., will attend Texas A&M University Health Science Center; Jeff Henderson of Childress, Daniel Middlebrook of Tomball and Ranessa Crawford of Goldthwaite will attend the University of Texas at Houston Health Science Center; Raymond Duggan of Abilene will attend the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston; and Lee Griffith of Carlsbad, N.M., will attend the University of New Mexico School of Medicine; Trudi Simpson Woodson of Everman Colo., will attend the University of Texas at San Antonio Health Science Center; Caleb Sawyer of Granbury and Michael Voss of Post will attend Texas Tech University Health Science Center; Patrick Williams of Texarkana, Ark., will attend the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences; and Hunter Reynolds of Lubbock will attend the University of Osteopathic Medicine and Health Sciences at Des Moines.
In the field of dentistry, Sheng Yu of El Salvador, San Salvador, will attend Tufts University School of Dentistry at Boston; Ryan Waters of Harlingen will attend the University of Texas at San Antonio Dental School; and Brian Burleson of Fort Worth will attend Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas.
In the field of physical therapy, Amy Wade of Glen Allen, Va., will attend Old Dominion University in Norfolk, Va.
In the field of veterinary medicine, Jeff Harrison of Mesquite will attend Texas A&M University School of Veterinary Medicine.
For nurse practitioner school, Elizabeth Nichols Wilson of Abilene will attend the University of Tennessee at Knoxville.
For physician assistant school, Jenny Wilburn of Canadian, Texas will attend the University of Texas Southwestern Health Science Center at Dallas; and Susan Hines Guild of Hillsboro, Ark., will attend Emory University in Atlanta.
