New Executive Assistant Joins President's Office

for immediate release May 15, 1998

Jim Holmans is ACU's new executive assistant to the president, replacing Joe Cope who is now executive director of the ACU Foundation.

Holmans retired last year as a colonel after 30 years in the U.S. Air Force, performing assignments in human resources and executive services.

He and his family lived in Abilene from 1983-85 when he was stationed at Dyess Air Force Base. Jim and his wife, Myra, a 1965 ACU graduate, most recently lived in San Antonio.

"Jim has already established himself as an able assistant to me and is quickly learning the ACU environment," said Dr. Royce Money, ACU president. "He will be an asset to the effectiveness of the President's Office."
