Annual ACU Lectureship Brings Free Concerts
for immediate release Jan. 16, 1998Abilene Christian University student performers will provide free entertainment for campus visitors each night during ACU's 80th annual Bible Lectureship Sunday-Wednesday, Feb. 22-25. All concerts are open to the public:* ACU Symphonic and Concert bands at 8:45 p.m. Sunday in Cullen Auditorium, directed by Blaine Hinton and J. Eric Wilson. * ACU A Cappella Chorus and University Chorale at 8:30 p.m. Monday in Cullen Auditorium, directed by Michael Scarbrough. * ACU Jazz Essemble/Percussion at 8:30 p.m. Tuesday in Cullen Auditorium, directed by J. Eric Wilson and Dr. Allen Teel. * Abilene Collegiate Orchestra at 8:30 p.m. Wednesday in Cullen Auditorium, directed by Celeste Myall of Hardin-Simmons University. The orchestra consists of both ACU and HSU students.
