Wimon and Rosalinda Walker, newly appointed on-site directors for Abilene Christian's Study Abroad Program in Latin America, left Abilene in August with 15 ACU students, headed for Casa ACU in Montevideo, Uruguay.

This season, Wildcat fans have been watching records shatter during Saturday football games, and today was no different. In record-setting fashion, the No. 2-ranked Abilene Christian University Wildcats defeated the No. 9-ranked West Texas A&M Buffaloes in the NCAA Division II Playoffs, with a score of 93-68.

One week after executing its offense to near-perfection in scoring 93 points against West Texas A&M, the second-ranked ACU Wildcats were nowhere near perfection in a 45-36 quarterfinal loss to third-ranked Northwest Missouri State.

Abilene Christian University running back Bernard Scott and two of the nation's top quarterbacks are the top three vote-getters in balloting for the Harlon Hill Trophy, and they have been invited to next week's awards banquet where the winner will be announced.
