Three teams from the 2017 Springboard Ideas Challenge will compete and present their final business models at the Springboard Community Luncheon, May 16, from 11:45 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Abilene Civic Center.
Forty teams competed in the first round of the challenge, with 13 teams advancing to the second. These 13 teams will be highlighted at the luncheon in addition to the three teams presenting.

The Springboard Ideas Challenge is a program allowing members of the community to organize, direct and present their business model ideas to local investors, along with the chance to win thousands of dollars in startup funding.
The luncheon provides an opportunity to network with fellow entrepreneurs and investors across the region.
