Abilene Christian University continues to gain worldwide recognition for its innovation ­‑ this time earning the title of "Center of Excellence" by the New Media Consortium (NMC), an international consortium of colleges and universities dedicated to the exploration and use of new media and new technologies.

Abilene Christian University plans to present 550 undergraduate and 109 graduate degrees, including five doctoral degrees, to students during two ceremonies, May 9.

Alcatel-Lucent, a global leader in broadband networking and IP technology, announced that Abilene Christian University is one of four winners of its first-ever Dynamic Enterprise Award. ACU was the winner for the continent of North America. In addition, ACU was named winner of the first Analyst Choice Award, an honor voted by a panel of top-ranking industry analysts attending this year’s Enterprise Forum.
