"I am Second" comes to campus

“I am Second” speakers will be featured on campus the week of September 8, 2013. Each speaker is associated with the non-profit organization that encourages people to tell their life stories in a short “I am Second” video.

“We hope everyone will realize that their story matters, that God is at work in them, and that God can use their stories to reflect his love,” says Mark Lewis, assistant dean of spiritual life and chapel programs.

Starting Monday, September 9, speakers will be in Moody Coliseum at 11 a.m. for chapel. There will be a special eventon Thursday night from 7-9 p.m.

Schedule:
  • Monday: Former army ranger Chris Plekenpol plus the "Splat Experience" with Christian artist Mark Eckel
  • Tuesday: Entrepreneur and Dallas community leader Lisa Luby Ryan
  • Wednesday: Former navy SEAL Remi Adeleke
  • Thursday: Hip hop artist Cliff Watkins
  • Thursday evening: Duche Bradley, former bodyguard for Jennifer Lopez and PDiddy 
  • Friday: ACU sophomore Ryan Flores

“I Am Second” is a nationwide Christian multimedia movement, designed to inspire people of all backgrounds to live for God and for others.
