University Events receives “Most Viable” award

Posted April 09, 2013

On March 13, the ACU University Events team was awarded “Most Viable Concept” in the Tabletop Contest at the annual Catersource/Event Solutions Conference and Tradeshow in Las Vegas. University Events' main goal is to promote the ACU image and brand through professionally planned and organized events.

"We spent many hours brainstorming table ideas, combining concepts and researching up-and-coming trends for 2013 and 2014,” says Jennifer Ellison, director of University Events. “Ultimately, what we created was a steampunk-themed look, which combined industrial machinery and menswear with feminine touches. Our table caught a lot of attention at the competition, which was a great way to introduce people to ACU.”

Pictures of the ACU tabletop will be featured in upcoming publications from Event Solutions and Catersource, including their annual review magazine, which will appear later this year.

“I am blessed to work with such a creative, hardworking team.  Each member of the University Events staff has a unique perspective that gives us a well-rounded approach to planning, exploring, creating and producing events for ACU,” says Ellison.
