Art students lead in District ADDY competition
Posted April 05, 2013Students from the ACU Department of Art and Design won four awards last month at the 2013 District ADDY competition, the advertising industry’s largest and most representative competition sponsored by the American Advertising Federation (AAF).
ACU won more awards than any other school in Texas except the University of Texas at Austin. Colleges and universities throughout Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana and Arkansas competed in the event.
Jordan Bell won a Student Silver ADDY for his branding of Fette Sau. Kayla Calvert won a Student Silver ADDY for her Mountain Bike Magazine Spread. Keith Jernigan won a Student Bronze ADDY for his Gilmans Packaging. Mallory Ming won a Student Gold ADDY for her Maze Meal Replacement Shake concept.
