Posted January 14, 2013

Dr. Jason Morris, associate dean of ACU's Honors College, has presented three international webinars for EducationUSA, a network of academic advising centers sponsored by the U.S. Department of State.

The webinars display Morris' expertise in higher education and will aid international students and American educators as they navigate the complex process of studying in the States.

"This was a fantastic opportunity to share with students from around the world the benefits of a U.S. education," says Morris.

Morris presented on faith-based higher education in the United States. He also co-presented with nationally known author and speaker Donald Asher about choosing an institution and crafting a strong admission essay. The presentations were based in part on Morris and Asher's book,The Best Scholarships for the Best Students, and Morris' coauthored book entitled, Peterson's Applying Successfully to Top U.S. Universities.

EducationUSA maintains hundreds of advising centers in 170 countries, where millions of international students can find accurate, comprehensive, and current information about how to apply to accredited U.S. colleges and universities. Each year, EducationUSA advisers help millions of international students to apply for American higher education, while other staff members work with U.S. higher education professionals to promote recruitment of international students.
