The 2012-13 AnswerBook, 18th edition, is now available as an eBook for purchase through iTunes and can be downloaded to an iPhone, iPad or iPod touch. The AnswerBook is a copy-desk reference guide to Abilene Christian University edited by Dr. Charlie Marler, professor emeritus of the Department of Journalism and Mass Communication, and Paul Anthony, communication coordinator for ACU's advancement division.

The AnswerBook serves as a central source of information about ACU and its historical, geographical and cultural setting, and provides help on writing style issues and legal issues for classes in the Department of Journalism and Mass Communication and the JMC Network.

Revisions to the 2012-13 AnswerBook include updates of all personnel at the university, including new, retired, departed and deceased. Additionally, annual student, faculty and staff awards are updated. New entries in the area of politics were researched and added by Anthony.

Marler highlights other new additions: “New lists include drum majors, political endorsements by The Optimist, alumni legislators, Southland Conference coaches and players of the year 1967-68, Southland Conference members, best Abilene restaurants for 2012 and alumni who are at least 100 years of age as of Sept. 1, 2012.”
