Higher Education Leadership Summit expands student exposure

Posted November 12, 2012

The ACU Higher Education Leadership Summit, aimed at current students in ACU's online Higher Education master's program as well as prospective students, was held in Ft. Worth on Nov. 9-10. Speakers at the event included authors, outstanding practitioners and program alumni from different universities across the state of Texas.

"The learning experience from the summit is invaluable," according to Dr. Jason Morris, associate dean of ACU's Honors College and associate professor of Higher Education. "We created an opportunity for students to visit different types of higher education institutions and hear from practitioners from a variety of student service areas. This allowed students to create connections with other professionals that may help them professionally in the future.”
