Abilene Christian continues to earn recognition as a premier university, with new honors this summer from Forbes Magazine and The Princeton Review. ACU's academic quality, innovative teaching methods, vibrant student life and affordability have helped the university land top spots in the rankings that matter to students, parents and educators.

America's Best Colleges - Forbes Magazine

ACU is one of "America's Best Colleges" as determined by Forbes Magazine in a rankings list published in August 2012. Forbes joined with the Center for College Affordability and Productivity to choose 650 schools based on "the quality of the education they provide, the experience of the students and how much they achieve." ACU was ranked No. 485, placing the university in the top 10 percent of the 6,600 accredited postsecondary institutions eligible for consideration. ACU and Pepperdine were the only two universities on the list affiliated with Churches of Christ.

Best Western Colleges

The Princeton Review has again named ACU one of the "Best in the West" for 2012. ACU is one of 121 schools receiving this distinction as "academically excellent institutions of higher learning" for the 15-state western region of the U.S. "We're thrilled to be recognized again by such a prestigious organization. Our goal is to deliver the best university experience we can for our students, and it's great when students call us out for the good work we're doing," says ACU President Phil Schubert. ACU is the only one of seven Texas members of its new athletics league, the Southland Conference, to be included in the list.
