Japanese students send aid back home
Posted May 16, 2011Local Japanese students from Abilene Christian University teamed up with Global Samaritan to come to Japan's aid. Japan has started down the long road to recovery after the devastating 9.0 earthquake hit in March, followed by a deadly tsunami.
Recently, the Hope for Japan Organization brought some Japanese culture to the Mall of Abilene, painting faces, selling t-shirts and giving kids a chance to dress in traditional kimono attire. The money raised will help send three teams of 20 people to help Japan victims. Read more and see the video here.
