Posted March 29, 2011

Liz Rosenberg, American poet, novelist, author and book reviewer, will visit the ACU campus on March 31 and April 1. Rosenberg will perform a poetry reading Thursday evening in Chapel on the Hill and a writing workshop on Friday.

Tanner Hadfield, senior English major from Abilene, is excited to hear her speak.

"Liz is not only an experienced writer in young adult and children’s literature, poetry, and the novel, but an established critic in the literary world, and should have some phenomenal insight for writers of all abilities and experience," Hadfield says.

Rosenberg has written more than two dozen books for children and young adults, and published award-winning books of poetry. Her most recent work, "Home Repair," is her first novel for adults. They story deals with a middle-aged woman handling divorce, raising a family, dating and caring for her elderly mother.
