Opening of Eurydice delayed to Feb. 17-19

Posted February 08, 2011

Since last week's heavy snows interrupted the ACU Theatre Department's schedule, the opening for Eurydice has been delayed. Performances are now scheduled for Feb. 17-19.

The play, written by Sarah Ruhl, is a reinvention of the myth of Orpheus that deals with the ideas of love and grief. ACU's production is directed by senior theatre major Emily Rankin of Abilene.

Eurydice will be performed in the Fulks Theatre in ACU's Williams Performing Arts Center, Feb. 17-19 at 7:30 p.m. The talk-back, in which the cast interacts with the audience to answer questions about the show, will take place on Friday, Feb. 18. Tickets are on sale now and can be purchased at the ACU Theatre website.
