ACU Opera presents "Amahl and the Night Visitors"

Posted November 12, 2010

Abilene Christian University Opera presents Amahl and the Night Visitors, a heart-warming story of struggle, forgiveness, generosity and miracles. This year's Christmas opera will benefit the Christian Service Center's Feed the Hungry drive.

The opera follows the wise men's journey to find the Christ child as they encounter a generous widow and her young disabled son in whose home they rest for the night. It is a tale of Christ's first miracle as he guides the wise men on their journey.

The opera will be performed at University Church of Christ on Sunday, Nov. 14, at 5:30 p.m., and again at ACU’s Williams Performing Arts Center Recital Hall at 8 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 18, and Saturday, Nov. 20.
