ACU students present 11th annual Black History Production

Essence of Ebony will present the 11th annual Black History Production at Abilene Christian University Friday, Feb. 29, and Saturday, Mar. 1 at 8 p.m., in Cullen Auditorium.

The production, "Moments in the Mirror," introduces the audience to four black college students struggling to find themselves, and truly discover who they are. It is written and directed by current and former ACU students De Laina Parker, Ryan Bowman, Brandon Jones and Shelby Coates.

"The show is a laugh-out-loud, cry your eyes out and thought-provoking production that will have you examining your image in the mirror," said Brandon Jones, a graduate student from Tyler.

Tickets are available Feb. 25-29, in the ACU Campus Center for $5 each. Tickets can also be purchased at the door prior to the show.  Children 3 and under are free, and special group rates are available.

Essence of Ebony is a multicultural student organization at ACU whose mission is to create and maintain a bond of cultural awareness, while exemplifying Christian values.
