"ACU students will model all the trendiest fashions from past decades, while exploring the many changes of Black fashions," said Mallorie Frank, senior sociology major from Dallas and coordinator for the event. "We will also have musical entertainment featuring different cultures and provided by local entertainers."
The show will highlight the influences that African-Americans have had on popular culture fashion through the decades.
"Audience members will journey from the 1950s to the present, watching the story of the times unfold before their eyes," said Frank.
ACU's Office of Multicultural Enrichment seeks to enhance the experience of Black History Month for ACU students and the surrounding community.
The event is free and open to the public. Doors will open at 7:15 p.m., and the show will begin at
8 p.m. Donations will be accepted during the event to benefit ACU's Office of Multicultural Enrichment.
