Hosts and hostesses chosen for Sing Song's "World Tour"
A panel of judges selected four women and three men to host Abilene Christian University's Sing Song 2008, "World Tour." Sing Song is a musical extravaganza featuring original student group acts with hosts and hostess performing stage numbers between each act.

This year's hosts and hostesses include:
Kari Anderson, senior Biblical text major from Inkster, Mich.,
Isaac Bray, junior vocal music education major from Abilene,
Benay Dennis, senior interdisciplinary music/business major from Rio Vista,
Ben Reeves, junior marketing major from Abilene,
Marci Rodriguez, senior graphic design major from Snyder,
Elizabeth Anne Russell, senior communication/marketing major from College Station, and
Anna Peters, junior family ministry/elementary education major from Houston.

"These seven individuals represent an enormous amount of talent at ACU," said Tom Craig, director of student productions at ACU. "They will add all kinds of fun and excitement to Sing Song 2008."

The seven auditioned from a pool of 53 other students. They were critiqued on vocal quality, stage presence, sight-reading, blending and choreography. The judges were a mix of professionals from ACU and from the Abilene community, including: Samuel Cook, artist in residence and associate professor of voice and opera at ACU, Tom Craig, director of student productions at ACU, Adam Poyner, assistant director of Abilene Performing Arts Company, Kristin Ward, instructor of voice and clarinet at ACU, and Teri Wilkerson, owner of Dance Discovery in Abilene.

The show is scheduled for Feb. 15-16 in Moody Coliseum on the ACU campus. Tickets will go on sale Nov. 1 online at www.acu.edu/singsong.
